I absolutely loved meeting Landon and his mom. What a blessing to capture his senior pictures. He is as handsome on the inside as he is on the outside and I just know God has big plans for his life.

I cannot wait for Shelby and her family to see all of her gorgeous images!!!
Our baby girl is a Homecoming Queen Nominee! We are pretty excited and proud but if you ask our baby girl about it she will simply smile and humbly tell you that it is an honor to be selected as a nominee and nothing more....and that makes us even more proud. This is quite a special class of guys and girls and I'm thankful for their strong friendships and that they are really embracing their senior year memories together. Homecoming is Friday, so we only have a few days to get her homecoming ensemble together. Talk about pressure. Ha!
Myka, you are stunning! Loved the outfits you chose for your session! Thanks for the blessing of capturing your Senior year. So many more images to share at your Session Premiere next week. I can't wait!
Our baby girl is a senior in high school this year! A Senior!!! How is this even possible?! I wanted to do a special photo shoot for Hannah and some of her closest friends. Most of them have been friends since the first day of Kindergarten....and Hannah and her friend Shelby met in the nursery at the hospital only a few hours after taking their first breaths. They were born on the same day. My mind kept coming back to a Texas theme for their session. Getting all of them together was a small feat in itself. They are all busy seniors. I was thrilled that we finally found the perfect date and we were blessed with the most perfect evening. We were even able to grab a few sunset pictures and enjoy s'mores around the campfire. The sounds of joy and laughter made for the sweetest session.
I hope they treasure these images as much as we do. Who knows, it might be fun to recreate these images for their 10th class reunion....oh that makes me sad!
Beautiful girls. That's our Hannah with the long blonde hair and the blue scarf.
And the group with Studly, our old Studebaker truck and the Texas flag:
I couldn't decide between black and white, so I added both.
S'mores. Yes!
A night to remember...delight!
My baby girl is a senior this year and my oldest is a senior in college who will graduate early! Be still my heart! Didn't I just hold them in my arms for the very first time yesterday?! Hannah was sweet to give me a few minutes to grab this picture before we both headed out the door. She had friends to meet at the high school flag pole so that they could pray together before the new school year began and I needed a few minutes to make sure a presentation worked before sharing it with all of the high school faculty and staff....and to be honest, I needed a few minutes to wipe my tears and take it all in.
Hannah is the Student Council President and gave the best welcome to school speech to the entire high school while I tried my best to contain my tears. And my Rachel stepped in to her very first classroom as a student teacher in a room full of young kindergartners this morning. I just know they are going to love her!
My heart is full and my mind is flooded with precious memories. From her first day of Kindergarten to the 1st day of her Senior year. {Sob!} Jeremiah 29:11, sweet baby girl! We are so very proud of you!
Oh, this Senior Session was so much fun! And I absolutely loved showing her all of the images in her gallery. She is beautiful inside and out!
She was actually in the pond in this image. She rocked it like a supermodel!

You saw a few pictures of this SHS Senior last week. What an incredible session! I've known Levi since he was a second grader. What a joy and privilege to watch him grow up. It looks like he will be the class Valedictorian and we couldn't be more proud. With his great love of golf, we couldn't think of a better place to start his senior session.
I thought it would be fun to capture a silhouette in the west Texas sunset and add a little artistic flair too:
He really wanted action shots only, but with all of his golf medals and the cool scene behind him, I'm glad he paused for a brief moment for this image:
We managed to grab a few pictures in our field too. Love the hat...it's "so, Levi!"
I told him that his Raybans reminded me of the movie, "Top Gun!" He acted like he knew the movie and that made me feel less old. Ha!
He has been honored with Best Actor and All Star Cast more times than we can possibly count. With his suit and his trophies, we hit the stage!
And then it was time to capture some images with his car. He has the coolest car and his suit was a perfect match!
Thanks, Levi for the blessing of getting to capture your Senior year. I cannot wait for you to see the rest of your Gallery!!!

What a fun Senior session this was! I know I am in for a treat when I arrived at the destination to find a golf cart waiting for me. Delight! I was so excited when I saw this image on the back of my camera. Look at how the ball is following the sand. So cool!!!
And one more for good measure. If you are in our area, you know this golfer just by seeing his colorful pants.

If you follow our photography facebook page, you may have already seen most of these images. I'll say it again, I cannot believe our baby girl and her friends enjoyed their Junior/Senior Prom! Weren't they all just in Kindergarten yesterday?! Prom day was a super busy but super-blessed day! Just minutes before this image, Hannah and her fellow One Act Play Cast and Crew performed at Regionals, advanced to Area, and she was honored with All Star Cast. Whew!! In between their performance and the awards ceremony, we had a few minutes to change out of her costume and into her Prom gown.
While the Cast and Crew waited for their prom dates to arrive, we snapped a few fun images:
Hello??? Are ya'll coming to pick us up? We are starved!!!
Hannah and her date. He is a sweetie.
and she is gorgeous! I am totally biased, but wow!!!
I loved it that they asked me to take some group and individual pictures. I'm not sure what they are looking at here, but I like it just the same!
They all looked so nice!
Since this is the year for Downton Abbey and the Great Gatsby, I thought it would be fun to edit the above image in a Dreamy Black and White. Kind of 13 going on 30-esque, don't you think?
Our Junior Girls who have been friends and played basketball (or managed the team) together since Kindergarten (except for one who got here as soon as she could).
and just like that, they were off to Prom!
Mr. Incredible and I grabbed a quick bite to eat at Chick Filet and then changed out of our One Act Play tshirts in to our Prom outfits. You should have seen the looks on the Chick Filet patron's faces. Funny doesn't begin to describe it!
We arrived at Prom to find this:
Hannah and her friends had a blast. They ended the night at our neighbor's house who sweetly let them swim until 2 in the morning and even fixed them sausage and pancakes. It was a whirlwind kind of day, but we managed to capture memories to treasure....what a blessing!

I may have squealed a little when I saw this image on the back of my camera! Look at the way the sand is moving!! So cool!!! God is so awesome to bless me with opportunities like this! Hello Golf Magazines, this amazing senior could totally rock your cover. Delight!!!
What fun to photograph this very active and athletic Stanton High School Senior! His facebook tags have been quite the hit! One mom even commented that her daughter was interested in his curly hair and baby blues. Even though he may never admit it, I think he has rather enjoyed the attention. Regardless, I enjoyed this session and the fun in capturing his personality. Despite crazy winds and pending storms, we managed to capture these and 25 others in his gallery.
I have had the blessing of photographing her cousins and Aunt and Uncle but finally had the blessing of meeting Kelcie and photographing her! She is beautiful inside and out!
Our baby girl had quite a day this past Saturday. Her One Act Play Cast and Crew competed in the Area contest and advanced to Regionals (Yay!!), she received an All Star Cast medal, and then had Prom that same night. I'm so thankful we were able to find a few moments in between to capture her in her beautiful gown! Gorgeous! She took our breath away!
Senior Guys are so fun to photograph! Really, they are. No, they don't come with trunks full of clothes and accessories so that we can play dress up, but they are still fun! Inevitably, they are less than thrilled but still very polite, when the session begins. By the time we are well in to the session, they have forgotten about being nervous and act like the are having fun. If they aren't having fun, please don't tell me. Ha! I'm having a blast! It was a pleasure to meet this handsome senior and his beautiful mom and I count it a privilege to have captured his senior images. Here are just a few. I'm saving the others for his Session Premiere.
This was such a cool session! It was my first request for welding pictures and I must say, it was incredible! I love new challenges. Seeing this senior's face light up when he fired up his welding torch? Priceless! How special to discover that his grandpa was a master welder. I just know God has amazing things in store for this fine Senior!
I've known this senior for the past 4 years. She has persevered through major health issues including heart surgery and still managed to keep smiling. I am going to miss her so much in Yearbook class next year but I am so excited to see the path that she chooses and to watch her thrive. Her brother just recently returned from his 5th tour. Naturally, it was a given that we take some pictures with Old Glory on the day she was going to see him as he arrived in the States.
What a joy to photograph this beautiful Stanton High School Senior! I am so thankful we were able to find the date. In spite of grueling west Texas winds, God was so good to help me find locations that gave us respite from the fierce, hair-standing-straight-up, winds. She and her mom were game for absolutely anything and I loved that! I am so excited to show them all of her images this evening! Delight!
She arrived with confetti, a beautiful frame, a car full of outfits and accessories to choose from, and even balloons. What fun!
Gorgeous!
Wowza! This Midland Christian Senior is gorgeous inside and out! One of the comments on facebook said she looked like Pocahontas. Love that. Oh what fun we had taking her senior pictures! I am hoping to get to watch her play ball sometime this spring. Until then, I cannot wait to show her all of her images!!!
I loved meeting this beautiful senior and her family! Oh, what fun we had putting outfits together! I think we visited and giggled the entire session. What a blessing to meet them and to photograph their baby girl. This family traveled over 4 hours to get to their session! Seriously, I am blessed with the most incredible clients!
She brought this dress and I added my hat. Hearing that she loved pearls, this seemed like the perfect accessory!
She borrowed her boyfriend's jersey. He surprised her with these shorts. So cute!
Love the colors of this image:
And this one too!
I am waiting on one more item and then I will be happily packaging all of her senior items into one happy box. I cannot wait for them to see all of her images. Delight!!!
