I have had the blessing of photographing her cousins and Aunt and Uncle but finally had the blessing of meeting Kelcie and photographing her! She is beautiful inside and out!
I'm so thankful for large Palladium windows on a cold night! I set my alarm at different times through the night and through sleepy eyes was blessed to capture this through the window. What a beautiful sight! "The Heavens declare the glory of God!" Psalm 19
Our baby girl had quite a day this past Saturday. Her One Act Play Cast and Crew competed in the Area contest and advanced to Regionals (Yay!!), she received an All Star Cast medal, and then had Prom that same night. I'm so thankful we were able to find a few moments in between to capture her in her beautiful gown! Gorgeous! She took our breath away!
Happy Sweet Sixteen, Adrienne! It may have been a windy day, but I'm thankful we were able to get several images before your Sweet Sixteen Party!
Our baby girl is once again in our high school's One Act Play. This is her third year and she absolutely loves it. The stage, the costumes, the lights, the fun, the drama. Where does she get such drama?!
This year, they are performing excerpts from "Leading Ladies." It is hilarious! I am hoping to take pictures of their dress rehearsal soon. The costuming and staging are as fabulous as the actors. Their group advanced from District to Area. Area happens to be on the same day as our high school Prom. Sigh! But, it will all work out and probably be so much fun. How many schools get to attend the awards ceremony and judges critique in their formal attire?
This image was taken at the District Awards ceremony. Our baby girl was recognized as All Star Cast. Encore! Encore!
Senior Guys are so fun to photograph! Really, they are. No, they don't come with trunks full of clothes and accessories so that we can play dress up, but they are still fun! Inevitably, they are less than thrilled but still very polite, when the session begins. By the time we are well in to the session, they have forgotten about being nervous and act like the are having fun. If they aren't having fun, please don't tell me. Ha! I'm having a blast! It was a pleasure to meet this handsome senior and his beautiful mom and I count it a privilege to have captured his senior images. Here are just a few. I'm saving the others for his Session Premiere.
This was such a cool session! It was my first request for welding pictures and I must say, it was incredible! I love new challenges. Seeing this senior's face light up when he fired up his welding torch? Priceless! How special to discover that his grandpa was a master welder. I just know God has amazing things in store for this fine Senior!

I've known this senior for the past 4 years. She has persevered through major health issues including heart surgery and still managed to keep smiling. I am going to miss her so much in Yearbook class next year but I am so excited to see the path that she chooses and to watch her thrive. Her brother just recently returned from his 5th tour. Naturally, it was a given that we take some pictures with Old Glory on the day she was going to see him as he arrived in the States.
Superhero Sessions!!! Be watching for your chance to signup this week! Only 5 spots are available!
What a joy to photograph this beautiful Stanton High School Senior! I am so thankful we were able to find the date. In spite of grueling west Texas winds, God was so good to help me find locations that gave us respite from the fierce, hair-standing-straight-up, winds. She and her mom were game for absolutely anything and I loved that! I am so excited to show them all of her images this evening! Delight!
She arrived with confetti, a beautiful frame, a car full of outfits and accessories to choose from, and even balloons. What fun!
Gorgeous!
Wowza! This Midland Christian Senior is gorgeous inside and out! One of the comments on facebook said she looked like Pocahontas. Love that. Oh what fun we had taking her senior pictures! I am hoping to get to watch her play ball sometime this spring. Until then, I cannot wait to show her all of her images!!!
Be watching this week for more details and to sign up! Thursday afternoon, April 24th is the Superhero Session Date!
We are doing something we have never done before. Three Exclusive Mini Sessions in three months! Each theme has limited availability and if the first theme is any indicator, I cannot wait for the other two. The 2nd Mini Session signup is coming soon. It's a Superhero theme. So fun!!! These adorable children came dressed in their Easter finest and Bubbles (some called him Ke$ha) the bunny was super excited they were there.
Mr. Casen came ready to party. His outfit was adorable and his reaction the the bunny was priceless!
Mr Smiley, aka Wyatt, was all smiles and snickers. I love his new expression! He wrinkles his tiny nose. So cute!
The gorgeous Miss Olivia and her handsome brother thrilled me by bringing their Nonna and Aunt Julie. I always look forward to story time with Olivia. She tells the best stories and when she decides to flash her smile, it thrills my heart and lights up the entire room. Her baby brother, who has grown so much since his newborn session, had shots the day before and wasn't feeling quite himself. But from this adorable gummer smile, complete with shiny bottom teeth, you couldn't tell. Precious doesn't even begin to describe these two!
The was my first time to photograph these beautiful sisters. All three are beautiful, just like their mom. Oh, those eyes!!!
And the bunny family! They were so generous to keep their show bunnies for me for these sessions. The bunny could not have been sweeter. He sat in the basket and posed for every image. My favorite part, besides getting to photograph these two with their bunny, was the costume they brought. A unicorn!!! Mr. Bubbles the bunny is really a boy. Poor guy, we dressed him up with daisies and then the pink unicorn costume. To say he just may have issues is an understatement. Needless to say, he totally rocked it! Ha!
Thank you sweet families for blessing us by coming to the Easter Sessions. We loved having you!!!
I loved meeting this beautiful senior and her family! Oh, what fun we had putting outfits together! I think we visited and giggled the entire session. What a blessing to meet them and to photograph their baby girl. This family traveled over 4 hours to get to their session! Seriously, I am blessed with the most incredible clients!
She brought this dress and I added my hat. Hearing that she loved pearls, this seemed like the perfect accessory!
She borrowed her boyfriend's jersey. He surprised her with these shorts. So cute!
Love the colors of this image:
And this one too!
I am waiting on one more item and then I will be happily packaging all of her senior items into one happy box. I cannot wait for them to see all of her images. Delight!!!
Congratulations to Seymour High School's Prom Queen!
Photo of the Morning: What a blessing to photograph this beautiful family as they celebrated their baby girl's 16th birthday this past weekend. Love, joy, and laughter are my favorite things to capture and this session encompassed all three. Delight!
Despite the howling winds and blowing dust yesterday, this SHS Class of 2014 beauty rocked her session. Stunning!
Senior Season is officially here! Jonathan was a blessing to photograph. He has been in competition league soccer since he was little and we loved the fun challenge of capturing some soccer moves during his session.
